District Guidelines

District Mission: To carry the AA message to the alcoholic who still suffers. We do this by fostering the Austin area AA Groups by providing and informing the AA Community of service opportunities. We are the essential link between the group General Service Representative (GSR) and the area delegate to the General Service Conference.

Service Opportunities

Anyone interested in participating in any of these committees should contact the Committee Chair or come to the monthly meeting. No experience is necessary!  Please see the corresponding committee page for contact info.

The quarterly Correctional committee meeting is being held on the first Sunday of January, April, July, October at 6 p.m. at the Hill Country Intergroup, 1825 Fortview Road, Suite 104. To ALL volunteers who take meetings behind bars and anyone who has worked the steps and is interested in carrying the message behind bars is invited to attend this meeting in order to get detailed information on how to get started.  See the Correctional Page or the flyer for these details.
